Freshman Parents!
Summer is flying by and we hope that you have been able to enjoy time with each other before school begins in just a few short weeks!
We are writing to invite your high school freshman (can you believe that!) to attend our Freshman Retreat that will be held Saturday August 14 – Sunday, August 15. This year we are excited we will be able to go to Camp Rivercrest just outside of Fremont for an overnight experience. This is an opportunity for the freshman class to spend time building community with each other as well as getting to know other HSM students and the adult leaders.
Here is what your freshman can expect at the retreat:
Time of event: Saturday, August 14 @ 9:00 am – Sunday, August 15 @ noon
Where: Camp Rivercrest (drop off and pick up will be at Westwood)
Activities: Archery Tag, “The Black Banana”, Swimming, Hiking, Observation Tower, Community Building Activities, and LOTS OF FUN!
Cost: $50 per person
We look forward to your freshman joining us in high school ministry in the upcoming year and we want to welcome them to our group at this special event.
