To the Westwood Church Community:

The For the Joy campaign is our mission to pay off the remaining debt from the Greater Harvest Project. The Greater Harvest Project was the funding drive that allowed Westwood to add a new addition, primarily for children and youth classrooms. The name of the new campaign is taken from Hebrews 12:1-3 and is the basis for our desire to follow God’s call for Westwood.

Our hope is that this campaign will allow Westwood to build upon the work done by the great cloud of witnesses that surround us and have gone before us so that we can use this space to focus on kids, youth and families which is the race God has marked out for us and that through our giving, we can follow Christ’s sacrificial lead. This campaign allows us to fix our eyes on Jesus and give ourselves to the ministry, even when it can be costly. In our case, a part of the joy of being obedient to the Father means providing a space where that exact kind of Jesus-centered faith can be built with a special focus on families.  Please refer to your email for additional information regarding the loan details and our goal to retire the debt.

We are asking you to prayerfully consider making a pledge to give to the For the Joy campaign and help us retire this debt.
