Can you believe that last Easter we did online services only? That was about a year ago and we are so pleased to be able to offer in-person worship options during Holy Week 2021. Here’s what you’ll see at Westwood this year!
Palm Sunday:
In-Person and Livestream worship at 9:30 and 11:00, and we WILL have palms to wave! Sunday School as normal.
The Egg Scramble –Arrive anytime between 1:30 and 3:00pm, and stop by our front entrance area for some simple instructions. Your family will then be-bop around our property looking for clues, solve a simple word puzzle, then stop back at the front entrance for an Easter goodie-bag for the kids. This will be fun for families with kids age 2 through elementary. Allow for 30ish minutes and dress for the weather, as this is an outdoor activity.
Maundy Thursday:
Westwood will offer a short and intimate communion only service from 12:15-12:45 pm in the Worship Center. Come and gather around the Table of Christ together.
Good Friday:
Westwood’s in-person and livestreamed Good Friday service will start at 7:00 pm. The remembrance of the crucifixion of our Lord leads us to the celebration of the Resurrection.
Easter Sunday: Westwood will offer 3 worship celebrations.
8:15 am – A worship service to start your day! Same message as the other services, just a bit less music and the music will feature familiar Easter hymns. In the Worship Center. No livestream for this service.
9:30 & 11 am – In-person and livestream worship services full of great music and a joy filled celebration of our Risen Lord!
Kids Stuff on Easter Sunday:
8:15am service – Childcare/classes for babies through Kindergarten
9:30am service – Childcare/classes for babies through 2nd grade
11:00am service – Childcare for babies through Kindergarten
