our vision
all generations passionately seeking jesus together
We are a part of the Reformed Church of America (RCA) with its historic roots in the Protestant Reformation. As the name suggests, we seek to be reformed and ever-reforming according to the Word of God.
We affirm the historic Christian faith as revealed in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. We value various creeds and confessions adopted over the centuries by followers of Christ: the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed. We also hold to the four historic confessions of the RCA: The Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, Canons of Dort, and Belhar Confession.
Although we uphold these creeds and confessions as faithful and historic witnesses of the faith, Jesus Christ is the Word made flesh and is the one to whom God has given all authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18). He is the primary focus of our faith, and the one to whom we surrender every part of our life in loving obedience. Beyond the person of Jesus, we rely on the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as God's authoritative instruments in "teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness," (2 Timothy 3:16), believing that they are wholly true and trustworthy in all that they intend to teach.
